International Space Station - Famed American astronaut, Dale Nevada, created a stir this week with comments made from his perch 220 miles above the Earth.

During a live interview with "Early Today," co-host Elizabeth Peters, Nevada was asked what he loved most about being an astronaut. "This Plantronics headset I'm talking to you on, that's what," answered the 53 year old space pioneer.
Thinking that Nevada was engaging in a bit of space humor, "Early Today" meteorologist Al Billups chimed in. "So, Dale, you'd take that headset over your view of the Earth from up there?"
"Al, I'm floating here in the middle of space and yet your voice sounds like a CD recording. How does my voice sound on your end?"
Billups responded, "Your voice sounds great, Dale, just great. I'm only saying that it seems like your view of the Earth must be magical, even spiritual. That's all."
"What's magical is this noise cancellation. Can you hear the live Houston feed in the background?"
Billups, nervously glancing off screen, answered: "I sure don't, Dale."

Nevada high-fived cosmonaut Yuri Popov floating upside down next to him.
"OK - I've got the oxygen breach sirens going now. You gotta be able to hear that."
